Github is an unfortunately name for a British English speaker as it sounds a bit like old git which is an unkind phrase used to describe someone who is age challenged )) But the name apart Github is a super place to put your content, it receives millions of visitors and is widely known in the internet publishing community. It is well respected and all together good!
I have a page there on Github and I am happy about it. It is starting to perform nicely also so I am thinking of writing more similar pages and placing them there next to it to keep it company – LOL ))
